About Dummy Itinerary

What this site is

Dummy Itinerary is a free browser tool that lays out flight details you type in as a clean, printable itinerary document. It is a formatting tool. You supply the routing, the dates and the names; the page arranges them and calculates the great-circle distance between the airports.

What this site is not

It does not connect to any airline, GDS or booking system. It cannot hold a seat, issue a ticket number, create an airline PNR, or produce a document any airline or authority can look up. Every document it produces is stamped SAMPLE — NOT VALID FOR TRAVEL on screen and in print, and carries the fields BOOKING STATUS: NO RESERVATION CREATED and PNR / TICKET NUMBER: NOT ISSUED.

If you need a document that an airline or a government office can check, you need a real booking from an airline or a licensed travel agent. This site is not a substitute for one, and we will not tell you otherwise. See Acceptable use.

Why it exists

People format sample itineraries for ordinary reasons: planning a trip before committing money, comparing routings side by side, teaching travel-agency software, mocking up a layout, or filling in a template for a class exercise. Those uses are what this tool is built for.

Who runs it

Dummy Itinerary is an independent site, run by one person, and it carries no advertising at present. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or connected to any airline, airline alliance, booking platform, government department or visa authority. Airline and airport names are used only to identify places and carriers.
