Sample only. This generator does not create a reservation, ticket number, airline PNR, boarding pass, barcode, or any booking an airline can look up. Every output is visibly marked SAMPLE — NOT VALID FOR TRAVEL.

What this builds — and what it does not

Being precise about this protects you. A sample itinerary is a layout, not a booking.

What you get

What you do not get

If a visa application, an airline or a border officer asks you for proof of onward travel, follow the instructions from that authority. Our acceptable use page sets out where a sample document is and is not appropriate.

HOW IT WORKS

Three steps, about two minutes

01

Enter your route

Search 4,133 airports by IATA code, city or airport name. Add a single leg, a return, or a full multi-city chain.

02

Add passenger details

A name and a cabin class are enough. Do not enter passport or payment details — nothing here needs them.

03

Print or save as PDF

Your browser’s own print dialog produces the file. The SAMPLE watermark is set to print, not to disappear.

QUESTIONS

Frequently asked

No. Nothing here books a flight, holds a seat or creates a record in any airline system. Every document the builder produces carries a SAMPLE watermark and a NOT VALID FOR TRAVEL notice, on screen and in print, and that marking is not removable.

A sample itinerary is not a substitute for any document an immigration authority asks you to provide. If an application asks for evidence of travel or onward travel, follow the instructions published by that authority, and supply what they specify. Our acceptable use page covers this in more detail.

No, because there is no booking. The builder never contacts an airline or a reservation system. The reference it prints is labelled DEMO REFERENCE precisely so it is not mistaken for a booking reference.

OurAirports, which publishes its dataset into the public domain. We include every airport that has an IATA code and scheduled service — 4,133 of them, across 234 countries. See data sources for how the file is built and when it was last refreshed.

It is free and there is no sign-up. The builder runs entirely in your browser: the airport dataset is downloaded once, and the names, dates and flight numbers you type are never sent to us or to anyone else. See our privacy policy.

Great-circle distance between the two airports’ published coordinates, using the haversine formula with an Earth radius of 6,371 km. Our methodology page shows the formula and the checks we run against it.
